Relationship is key to the health and welfare of each individual. We grow into adulthood and seek to connect with a partner that “matches” with us, our interests and desires. These can be arranged within our cultural settings or through a relationship developed from love. However, these partnerships are effected by our histories and early life experiences. Combined with our shared memories we can have a rich life together BUT can also be held back, denying us the companionship we desire.

In our busy lives, with work, growing families and outside “interests,” it is easy to forgot to invest and maintain the key relationship in our lives.

We can hurt the ones we love.

When the pressures creating conflict within your relationship reach a height that you and your partner agree you want help, The Lazarus Trust is able to offer support through a trained counsellor/ psychotherapist, and the opportunity and time to invest in your relationship.

When you realise

there is a problem!

The Lazarus Trust offers support to couples seeking help with the problems in their relationship. This support, like individual counselling, would be with an experienced therapist, familiar with the issues that present in marriages, while also able to help with issues that one partner may have, preventing the relationship from developing as they desire.

Sessions for Couple Counselling are 50 minutes, with similar conditions as Individual Counselling (for further info see Individual Counselling page). The cost for couple counselling is £60/session, but this is open to concessions, based on your financial situation.
