The Trust is able to provide supervision for students undertaking counsellor training and in need of supervision. We provide the additional support need for students, by completing reports for training colleges. We are also able to consider appropriate fee scale for trainees. Supervision is a vital part of counselling, psychotherapy and all other areas of helping people. It protects both the helper and those being helped. Supervision is necessary to be accredited with a professional body, such as British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and maintain good practice.

BACP outlines:

 

All psychotherapists, counsellors, trainers and supervisors are required to have regular and on-going formal supervision/ consultative support for their work in accordance with professional requirements.
