The Lazarus Trust seeks to
offer help and support to all groups of people. Each group has a group leader who is an experienced counsellors, able to facilitate and enable the group to become a safe and understanding support.
We would like to encourage people to share openly and freely, and ask each group member to commit to not sharing any person’s personal details.
A support group is for people with a common concern, need or interest. For example, for women, men, people who have experienced domestic violence or past abuse.
Why Do People Need
Support Groups?
Life has many influences and yet few guidelines to help us work out how we should deal with the problems that come our way. A support group of your peers can provide you with an opportunity to hear how others handle various situations while also giving you a place to talk through your feelings and reactions.
Do you think that a support group would be helpful to you? Are you interested in being part of a support group? Would you like to know more about what happens is a support group setting? Contact us for more information.
