The Lazarus Trust is able to offer a number of courses to help address problems within a group of peers, facilitated by a group leader from the Trust.

These courses are aimed at providing further understanding of problems and issues within a caring and supportive environment. We provide opportunities to explore the life experiences you have undergone and how these effect your life, with the hope of change.

Each course has its own materials to take home to enable  you to reflect on your story and how it has effected you.

Garlands for Ashes and Oaks of Righteousness are both 10 week courses, meeting on a weekly basis. Garlands for women and Oaks for men, enable the group member to explore the relational effects of abuse - physical, sexual, spiritual and neglect. Each course provides the opportunity to understand the effects of abuse on their relationships with self and others.

The structure is a 10 week therapeutic course helping the women or men individually and with their peers grow to understand the effects of their experiences of abuse on their relationships, enabling them to understand how they have responded and how to make new choices. Key words for the course are: freedom, choice, boundaries and relationship

The exercises in the course material provide the opportunity to explore your feelings and story, using various tools to guide you in a constructive and healing manner.
